Earlier today, the state government of Niger state, Governor Abubakar Sani put a total ban on the sale of motorcycles in the state. This is indeed a good step and according to all the reasons that were mentioned, it will be good if other states governors can do so too.

To eradicate the activities of the bandits completely.

About some months back, the abductors of school children requested some money and also request motorcycles, to this extent the Niger state governor is trying to curb such activities in the state.

Remember, the bandits are not only attacking Niger state, Borno, Kaduna, Jos are also getting a constant attack from these dreadful being. If the governors can be proactive in their actions it will do a whole lot of good. Though, the Niger state governor made it clear that the action might be frustrating but it is needed for the state to experience peace.

Also, by putting a permanent ban on commercial vehicles, the security operatives in this state can keep a close watch on any suspicious move.
