Electric Mayhem : A new Muppets Series Announced by Disney

A new show on Muppet is coming, and this show will have some hip stars. Disney has requested for the original new series tagged The Muppets Mayhem, according to Variety. The series is behind The Electric Mayhem, a colorful rock band.
Both the Electric Mayhem and the Muppets have a long history together. They first came to light in the initial launch of The Muppet Show, back then it was called The Muppet Show: S^x and Violence.
The group can be taken as the house band for the theater where the Muppet show takes place. The members of the band are Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Zoot on the saxophone, Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboard, Lips on trumpet, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, and Animal on Drums. The band would appear in the various Muppet specials and movies.
While the band has been chilling in the back just so Kermit and the gang can enjoy the spotlight, The Muppets Mayhem will put them in the center of the front row.
The band will be followed in the show as they make an attempt to record their very first album. The band will be teamed up by Lilly Singh, who will be the band’s manager and will play Nora, an A&R executive, and a human janitor.
The developers of The Muppets Mayhem are Bill Barretta (The Muppets, The Muppets Haunted Mansion), Jeff Yorkes, and Adam F. Goldberg (The Goldbergs).
Goldberg and Barretta have credited the executive producer’s title while Yorkes is the Co-executive producer.
David Lightbody, Michael Bostick, and Kris Eber are also credited as executive producers. The production of the series will be handled by ABC Signature and The Muppets Studio. The president of Disney Branded Television, Ayo Davis, was excited about the announcement as he expressed himself to Variety.
Singh began her career in performing on her popular YouTube channel, which has close to 15 million subscribers currently. She advanced into television, where she hosted A Little late with Lilly Singh, which lasted for two seasons.
She can be seen on shows like Medical Police and The Simpsons, also on Fahrenheit 451, which is an HBO TV film.
She has also appeared in the Season 2 of Hulu’s Dollface.
The documentary A Trip to Unicorn Island was Executive produced by her, which comprises her 27-city world tour.
Brands that represent her are ID PR, WME, Hansen Jacobson, and XX Artists.
Since The Muppets Haunted Mansion was released in October 2021, The Muppets Mayhem is another project that involves the Muppets.
Before this was worked on, Muppets Now were premiered by Disney in July 2020.
A new plan was already directly set regarding the Muppet series after the events of The Muppets Take Manhattan, which would’ve been handled by Edward Kitsis, Josh Gad, and Adam Horowitz.
However, the project was later on stopped. Therefore, the release of the Electric Mayhem starring series is refreshing as well as exciting.
