How to watch Fate anime series in order

We are listing the order to watch the Fate anime series in chronological order because it makes it easier and we feel it is the best way to go about it. We are starting off with Fate/Zero, though it was not the first one to be released it is a great starting point as the all-important fourth Holy Grail War was introduced to us.

Committed fans may have a problem with us starting here but for those coming across this series for the first time, it is the best way to experience the plot and also to get to know the world you are about to spend maximum time in, better.

You can stream and watch Fate/Zero on Netflix now.

  • Fate/Stay Night (2006)

To be honest, the first two series can be interchanged with which one you choose to see first and they both have their advantages. Fate/Stay Night was the first to be released, so if you want to watch it before you watch Fate/Zero, then you can do that as you will still enjoy it all the same.

Fate/Stay Night was released in 2006 and its story is a solid one that has its visuals really engaging. Though it does not reach the heights of the first one we chose on the list.

Fate/Stay Night is now available on Netflix, so you can easily stream and watch it.

  • Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works(2010. 2014-2015)

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is both a movie and a series so you have a choice to make here. The movie and series both tell the same story but in very different timeframes.

If asked to choose between the series and movie, the series will be the superior choice without question here and if you want to see as much of the Fate world as possible then you need to go for this.

But if you just want the basics of the story and do not mind how rushed it feels, you can get it done in two hours.

Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is now available on Netflix so you can easily stream and watch them.

  • Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel (2017)

The list is closed off by three movies as the route of the film was chosen, in contrast to adapting it into another series.

You can decide to pick two of them to watch at the moment but the third one isn’t available in the UK yet.

There is some good news; fans have praised the first two of the Fate series and it doesn’t look like the third one will disappoint either.
