Lil Uzi vert, though professionally known as that, his name is Symere Basil Woods. He is an American rapper and also a singer. He was born on 31st July 1995. He can be easily identified by his facial tattoos, eccentric hairstyles, and piercings. He was given birth to and raised in Philadelphia. Initially, he was recognized after the release of Luv is Rage(2015) which is a commercial mixtape. This led to him having a recording contract with Atlantic Records, and he signed under DJ drama’s generation now imprint.

He is one of the best songwriters in this generation of rappers and also a hip-hop great fashionista.

3.LIL DURK

Durk Derrick Banks, who is professionally known as Lil Durk, is an American singer and rapper from Illinois, Chicago. He was born on the 19th of October 1992. The record label Only the Family was founded by him and he’s the lead member. Another of his records Just Cause Y’all waited 2 was a hit and it was at a second position on the Billboard charts.

4.GUNNA

Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, known professionally as Gunna is an American rapper. He is from Georgia and was born on 14th June 1993. He is signed to Young Thug’s record label YSL Records, also to 300 Atlantic Records and Entertainment.

In 2019, he released his studio album titled Drip or Drown 2 and it was followed by his second studio album Wunna in 2020, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200.

5. 21 SAVAGE

21 Savage, known professionally by that name is a rapper based in Georgia, Atlanta. His name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph and he was born on 22 October 1992. He became known in 2015 after he released two mixtapes. His profile increased deed with a guest feature on Drake’s 2016 Single, Sneakin.

Worldwide, 21 savage received attention with the collaborative release of EP Savage Mode (2016) with Metro Boomin and its singles X, which featured Future and No Heart that made it within the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Yung Thug, known professionally by this, is an American rapper, songwriter, and singer. His name is Jeffery Lamar Williams and he was born on August 16, 1991. He is seen to be an influential person of his own generation because his music has impacted the modern sound of trap music and hip-hop.

Initially, he released a series of independent mixtapes and later on released to critical praise, his label debut mixtape 1017.

 

7.MEGAN THEE STALLION

Professionally known as Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Jovon Ruth Pete is an American rapper. She came originally from Texas. She first got people’s attention on Instagram when videos of her freestyling went viral. In 2018, she signed under 300 Entertainment and the mixtape fever 2019 was released, also Suga 2020, the extended play both of which made it in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Her single Cash Shit, featuring DaBaby, 2019 standout is one of the best collaborations in the year 2019.

Professionally known as Travis Scott, Jacques Bermon Webster II is an American rapper and a record producer. In the year 2012, Travis Scott signed his first major-label contract with Epic Records.  His studio album Astroworld was released in the year 2018, which later produced his first Billboard Hot 100 no. 1 single, Sicko Mode that features Drake.

Professionally known as Roddy Rich, Roderick Wayne Moore Junior is an American rapper. He is from Compton in California and was born on 12 October 1998. He became known with his single released in 2018, Die Young which peaked at no. 98 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Feed the streets (2017) and feed the streets II (2018), both of which are his first two mixtapes, also received widespread acclaim. In 2019, he was featured on the singles of Nipsey Hussle titled racks in the middle. From that, he earned a Grammy award for the best rapper performance and on Mustard’s Grammy-nominated single Ballin, which got to the top 20 of the billboard hot 100.

 

10.TYLER THE CREATOR

Professionally known as Tyler the creator, Tyler Gregory Okonma is an American rapper and record producer. He was born on March 6th, 1990. He is popularly known for his alternative hip-hop, jazz rap. Tyler released his debut solo mixtape, Bastard in 2009, after a large contribution was made to the early works of Odd Future. He has won a Grammy Award before now and it is a BRIT Award.

Jackman Thomas Harlow, professionally known as Jack Harlow is an American rapper. He was born in Kentucky, on 13th March 1998. He signed to the record label of Don Cannon and DJ Drama, Generation Now, that’s an imprint of Atlantic Records. In the month of January 2020, his single What’s Poppin was released. The song that became his second entry on the Canadian hot 100 is Moana with G-Eazy, peaking at no. 72. On 23rd July 2021, he was featured on the single of Lil Bad X, titled Industry Baby and he also appeared in the music video. What gave him his first number one song in the Billboard hot 100 charts was Industry baby as it went viral and made it to the top.
